I worked with watercolour in a more precise way, learning (we should never stop learning) how to use dry on dry techniques and using the highest quality materials, which makes such a difference.
This practice helped me hone my drawing and observational skills. The shell and holly studies are free from other distractions and painted on a plain white background, with their shadows to make the paintings pop.
